（中央社記者呂欣憓台北9日電）民主進步黨主席暨總統參選人蔡英文今天在臉書上祝約翰藍儂（John Lenon）生日快樂。她說，藍儂教導大家無論面對多少現實的挑戰，都不能丟棄「想像一個更美好的世界」的勇氣。

今天是英國搖滾合唱團披頭四主唱約翰藍儂的冥誕，蔡英文今天早上在臉書發文，祝約翰藍儂生日快樂。「It matters not who you love, where you love,why you love, when you love or how you love, itmatters only that you love.」蔡英文引述約翰藍儂這句話，指出藍儂不只是位音樂家、更是政治倡議者，倘若他還在世，今天將是他的75歲生日。

蔡英文說，她在英國求學時，同學們都能將「Imagine」、「Give Peace a Chance」等歌曲朗朗上口。儘管同學們所學的，是市場與法律的實務，但藍儂歌曲中的理想主義，則一路陪著同學們成長。

蔡英文說，藍儂教導了一整個世代，無論面對多少現實的挑戰，都不能丟棄「想像一個更美好的世界」的勇氣。

約翰藍儂出生於1940年10月9日，是一位英國歌手和詞曲作者，他和保羅麥卡尼組成披頭四樂團，披頭四樂團是流行音樂史上商業上最成功的團體。1041009
